you asked Me where am I,
but I'm always here.
you asked Me how,
but you never opened your ears.
you asked Me "what should i do next?"
but you never allow Me to lead.
you said "give me wisdom"
but you didnt allow Me to fill you.

thats what God convicted me of,
in my qt, that is.

sometimes we ask God,
but we wont allow Him to work in us.
how then, can you have an answered prayer?

Just something I did during QT I thought I'd wanna share:

We wait. For the cure to cancer.
We wait. For people to be fed in Africa.
We wait. Not realising that the Savior of the world has already arrived and is already here among us.
Here to save us if only we cry out to Him, "Don't pass me by!"

Stop waiting and start being pro-active in your faith and relationship with God. Be active and not passive people! :)

pray for weiliang,as his 'A' lvls are coming.you all know how hard he is studying,so let us keep him in prayer so that his efforts for God over the past few mths will be paid off even as he goes into the exams "battlefield"pray hard for him,pray that in this final stretch,he WILL NOT give up and even go 101% for God!!=)

Hey people!

To let your relationship with God get real, get to know Him more this week! Even if you're having exams, put in the effort to know God more, who He is, what does He do, what does He like, what He doesn't like.. But for this week, let's just focus on who He is :) For example, you realise you get closer to a person when you know more about him/her and her character, right? You feel that there is this special connection. The same it is with God! So, to get your relationship going, let's get to know Him better this week!

Worship
To have the presence of God in our lives, we first must know how awesome He is, what He can really do. We must first have a good understanding of God Himself before we can enter into His presence. How can we experience something we do not know? How can we feel something we do not understand? It is only by the knowledge & understanding of how great God is then we can enter into His presence and really, truly enjoy dwelling in His presence.



"To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one,
and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing
Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Isreal,
"My way is hidden from the Lord;
my cause is disregarded by my God"?

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:25-31



Read the last few lines, and if you really read it carefully, you can actually imagine how God can put you on top of His wings and you can soar together with Him. It may sound a bit cheesy, but look what God can do! Really read in depth into this verse and you discover you can really understand God better.

The prophet Isaiah understood who God was, He is someOne who can do the unimaginable and His power can never be understood. He is completely out of this world (literally)! But yet, Isaiah knew who God was. That was who God was to Isaiah.

Who is God to you?

Worship: Touching the very heart of God

The heart of God: How much do you want to connect with God? If you can put it in numbers, take out a calculator and x1000000000000. That's how much God wants to connect with you. He wants to connect with you more than you want to connect with Him. That's His heart. And connecting with Him will touch is heart.

Who God is to me? He's my deliverer. You can see my blog to know why :)

Who might God be to you? Refer to Experiencing God pg. 58-59, 220-221. Some are:

• my advocate, (Job 16:19)
• Comforter in sorrow, (Jer. 8:18)
• Wonderful Counselor, (Isa. 9:6)
• my strong deliverer, (Ps. 140:7)
• our Father, (Isa. 64:8)
• a sure foundation, (Isa. 28:16)
• bread of life, (John 6:35)
• Faithful & True, (Rev. 19:11)
• a consuming fire... (Deut. 4:24)

And the list goes on and on.

For your quiet time, you don't have to listen so hard to hear God, just let God speak. Don't need to squeeze God's words out of Him. Have faith and take heart, people! Because the bible has already said His sheep can hear His voice. So, just calm your heart down, have the hunger for Him, and He will definitely speak to you everyday.
